Biography
Sandrine Herbert-Razafinjato is a designer who co-founded Open the Gate (2009), a cultural organisation specialised in promoting a positive and contemporary image of African and diaspora cultures.
Inspired by her roots in Madagascar and France she promotes African culture and heritage, establishing Africa On The Square, a huge outdoor event in Trafalgar Square that took place every October from 2014 until the pandemic in 2020.
