Provides housing and training programmes to the Bedford Housing tenants.
Their mission is: "To provide individualised support to people who have faced social exclusion through homelessness, offending, mental health problems, learning difficulties, drug and alcohol misuse or multiple needs" (Source: Peter Bedford website).
They run several projects and activities, some of which are delivered in conjunction with the support of other organisations and funders. These include; Radar, Hillside Clubhouse, Groundworks, European Social Fund (ESF) and EcoMinds. Our most recent, and most successful, projects include: Roots and Boots Project (see image above of group members), Health by Stealth and Working Futures Project.
They also set up and run activities in response to the needs of and recommendations from our tenants and participants. For instance, the Walking Group, The Art Club, The Reading Group and Healthy Baking.
