A UK leading contemporary dance company. Deakin-Foster and Towndrow has become a strong combination of skills and experience, resulting in a future of indoor, outdoor, commercial, exhibition, UK, European, music video and festival adventures!
Our Mission: C-12 Dance Theatre aims to create and construct a new atmosphere within the arts sector by entwining both dance and theatre disciplines to deliver an innovative blend of physical dance performance with a theatrical narrative using dance theatre as a tool to educate and inspire. To achieve this is to introduce a new audience to dance by connecting with and engaging communities and young people.

History

The Company
C-12 Dance Theatre was founded in 2005 by Annie-Lunnette Deakin-Foster, Nasae Evanson and Adam Towndrow.
All founders studied and met at Middlesex University and subsequently after graduation the company was formed. Deakin-Foster and Evanson received Dance with Performing Arts Degree’s and Towndrow received an Interdisciplinary Performance Degree.
Since 2011, the company is run by Annie-Lunnette Deakin-Foster and Adam Towndrow. Nasae Evanson is connected to the company through his vision to create the company in 2005, since 2011 his passion of self expression has lead him to step down as Director and further concentrate on his own worthy endeavours.
2010-2012 the company became an Associate Company with East London Dance.
2011-2012 the company received its first National Lottery’s Grant For The Arts Award to create The Van Man.
2012 the company received funding from the International Festival Consortium Without Walls, to create, collaborate and produce Trolleys with Australian based Shaun Parker and Company.
2013 the company became an Associate Company with The Albany.
2013 the company became an Outdoor Escalator Company, to support the creation of Market Stall.
