Biography
Daniel William Baldwin was the fifth of eight siblings born to a local family. Aged 18 he joined the Royal Navy and served on the President II and President V. In 1922 he married Lillian Maud Nelson (b. 6 Dec 1898) and they later went on to live at 106 Dunlace Road. In 1939 he was a taxi cab driver.
