Biography
Born in Hoxton, Henry was a general labourer who married Mary Ann Riley c. 1885, and in 1891 they were living with his extended family at 26 Wendon Street, Bow. They would go on to have 8 children together.
By 1901 they had moved to Homerton, sharing a house at 62 Durrington Road with another family. At this time he had found work as a 'brush coverer(?).
By 1910, Mary Ann acquired and was running a confectioners at 17 Berger Road called "The Little Wonder," where the family lived.
In the 1980s, his granddaughter donated personal items belonging to the family.
