History
Hackney Council's Civil Protection department aims to work with local organisations in order to identify, plan for, and respond to risks to the public within the borough.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Civil Protection Service Emergency Planning and Response Team helped to put in place systems which aimed to reduce the spread of the virus such as setting up test centres, vaccine centres and general local support.
