Yvonne Curtis (McIntosh) is a Jamaican-born reggae and soca singer. She came to the U.K. in the 1960s and sung in local bands in and around Highbury and Islington. She worked on many small projects until 1975 and joined Third World Records label (run by Count Shelly). She was subsequently signed to Empire Records and then World Sounds Records.
