Biography
Phyllis Akua Opoku-Gyimah (AKA Lady Phyll) who is of Ghanaian heritage founded UK Black Pride in 2005. It is now Europe's largest celebration of African, Asian, Middle Eastern, Latin American and Caribbean heritage lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQI+) people and communities.
