Civil Servant (Staff Clerk with the India Office) who made a series of donations of stone tools to both the British Museum (between 1918 and 1934) and to the Passmore Edwards Museum (ones known between 1925 and 1927). Some of the items in his collection found it what is now the London Borough of Hackney are now held by Hackney Museum.
Fox took active committee roles in the S.E. Union of Scientific Societies (Archaeological Section) and the Ecclesiological Society.
He died in an air raid in 1940.
