Bhagwan Devi Pandit travelled to London in 1946 with her sons, to join her husband Devi Pershad Pandit. The family lived at Pedro Street, Clapton and their business, Pandit & Partners was on Balls Pond Road. Bhagwan Devi Pandit brought various cooking utensils with her from India so she could continue to cook food the family was family with.
