Arthur Griffiths, born in Hackney Road c.1863, set-up a photography studio c.1894 at 98 Armagh Road. The studio was located in between Roman Road to Old Ford Road in Bow. Arthur Griffiths son, Arthur Percy Griffiths (born 1897, Deptford), joined the business around 1925 and continued to run it until 1974.
