Nik Wood
Nik Wood worked in the civil service in Environments and Transport. He met his partner Mary Pimm on a trade union course, and the two have lived in Gore Road near Victoria Park since 1976.
Nik was active in civil service union campaigning around the Whitehall area as a member of SCPS (Society of Civil and Public Servants, a predecessor organisation to PCS), as an activist and also in what is known as 'facility time'.
Nik retired c.2004, since then they have had voluntary roles within his community, in particular with Inquest.
