If you call it healthy, whole, organic, natural, local, fair-trade or even (ever-so fashionably) “real” then we say it’s all good and we’ve crammed only the best of it into our three fantastic little shops in lovely, sunny Stoke Newington (that’s N16 in the fine London Borough of Hackney) and just next door near Newington Green and in Highbury (both in Islington N1).
Our café located at the Newington Green shop serves savouries and cakes from a number of local suppliers and also from our kitchen under the shop. The kitchen makes fantastic food for all the shops and also for a number of local businesses, specialising in simple, healthy, wholesome savoury foods and outstanding raw food treats, and with everything made almost entirely using ingredients sourced from the same suppliers we use for the shops.
One great thing about being small is that (as well as being beautiful) what you get when you enter one of our shops is a finely tuned range selected for quality and ethics, a range intentionally biased towards small, independent suppliers like ourselves. We stock everything from organic apples to cutting edge nutritional supplements via fantastic body care and household products with lots of unpackaged / refill lines and you can you can read more about our range here.
