Physical Description

This poster was originally printed to commemorate the Islamic year 1400 (CE 1979). A young boy is giving the call to prayer, the “Adham”, while rays marked ‘Allah’ shine on him. ‘Allah’ is also written inside his necklace. At the top of the poster, the curved script reads ‘There is no God but Allah, Muhammad is the messenger of Allah’. To the left is written ‘Muhammed (Peace be with Him)’ in two different colours and two different styles. To the right, similarly is ‘Allah’. Between the date and the boy’s head is ‘Allah is the Greatest’ (Allah Akbar).
