Islamic Poster.
This poster shows three ‘pirs’, or contemporary religious leaders, in front of the tomb of a Muslim saint. The Pakistani flag flies from the tomb.
The two inscriptions surrounded by roses read ‘O Allah’ and ‘O Muhammad (Peace be upon Him)’.
The following verse is written at the top of the poster:
‘O Beloved of Allah!
Mehar Ali cannot praise your dignity
My eyes are guilty for looking on you
O Beloved, with Black hair and magnificent eyes’.
