Physical Description
A Pakistani woven 'chajj', or wheat sifter, made from straw and cotton. Wheat sifters are used in rural Pakistan and India to sift wheat and rice. Hackney Museum collected a number of items from Pakistan in 1987 in order to reflect the culture of the London Borough of Hackney's Pakistani community.
