Sindhi man's Muslim prayer cap
Cap

The distinctive mirror work and higher forehead part suggest that this is a typical prayer cap of a man from the Sindh province in south east Pakistan. Such a hat is seen as a very important part of Sindhi culture, sometimes it is consciously worn as a symbol of Sindhi nationalism, yet it has also been adopted by some people among the neighbouring and regional cultures (eg. Afghan, Baloch, Saraiki and Pashtun). It was purchased in Karachi, the capital of Sindh province, Pakistan.
