Physical Description

The trade card of 'Kashmir Victory House Ltd, Carpet Manufacturers and Exporters' who were (are?) based in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. Their showroom at this time was on Shahrah-e-Quaid-e-Azam, a famous road in Lahore which was also known as The Mall (after its namesake in London). It was donated in 1987 by a Hackney resident who had purchased several items in Pakistan for Hackney Museum.
