Physical Description
A two shilling coin from 1967. The two shilling (2/-) coin was also known as a 'two bob bit' and a 'florin'. When decimal currency was phased in between 1968 and 1971, the 'ten new pence bit' (10p) was made the same size and weight as the 'two bob bit', and the two coins continued in circulation side by side as ten pence pieces until 1993, when the coin was reduced in size.
