EXTRACT FROM GENERAL CONDITIONS
Notice of any extension to the wiring or the installation of
additional apparatus must be given to the Council in writing
on the appropriate form, and no extension shall be connected
to any wiring that has already been passed until it has been tested
and approved by the Council by its authorised officer.
The consumer will be held responsible for any damage to
meters or fuses caused by connecting additional lamps or
apparatus before inspection and approval by the Council.
Forty-eight hours notice in writing must be given to the
Borough Electrical Engineer and Manager, by the consumer
before he quits any premises supplied with electrical energy
by the Council.
ALL EMPLOYEES OF THE ELECTRICITY DEPARTMENT
ARE PROVIDED WITH AN OFFICIAL PASS WHICH WILL BE
PRODUCED ON DEMAND
