A poetry reading was held at Stamford Hill Library in 1987 as part of a continued effort to encourage more diverse representation in the electoral vote. This poster was made to publicise the event.

Among those reading were Caribbean poet Valerie Bloom, who writes in English and Jamaican Patois, and Lemn Sissey.
