YELLOW BUDGERIGAR. Budgerigars have
become very popular, and occupy a prominent
place at the cage-bird shows. Yellow varieties are
not so often seen as Blues, Greens and Greywings.
Feed on the usual canary seeds, millet sprays and
green foods (see No. 23). (Series No.-22)
AFRICAN GREY PARROT. A general favour-
ite and the best talker among the Parrots, the
African Grey Parrot is one of the hardiest of all cage-
birds, often reaching the age of seventy. Feed on a
reliable brand of parrot food with fruit (bananas,
apple, stc.) and nuts of all kinds. (Series No.-24)
MAUVE GREYWING BUDGERIGAR-a fav-
ourite among the many delicate colours which
have been introduced. At least two nest-boxes must
be provided for each pair of birds. Canary seed and
spray millet should form the staple food with green
food. (Series No.-23.)
