DENNIS JOHN BURKETT
Dennis Burkett has been a pupil in this school since Easter 1933, having previously attended the Junior School at Millfields Rd. During his time here he has been punctual and regular in his attendance.
He has reached a sound standard in the usual school subjects, arithmetic being perhaps his weakest and (in addition to craft subjects) geography his strongest. His interest in scientific and craft subjects has been quite outstanding. He has turned out some excellent work in the craft rooms, both in wood and in metal.
His conduct has at all times given us every possible satisfaction. He is most willing and industrious.
He is very polite, speaks well and is most careful with his dress and personal appearance.
He is interested in swimming and holds the First Class Certificate of the London Schools Swimming Association.
I have always found him truthful and feel confident he is thoroughly trustworthy. His class master’s comment: “A very likeable lad” is one every member of the staff would endorse.
