TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN.
Miss C. E. Daines has during the last three years been employed as Shorthand Typist, General and Insurance Claims Clerk for the above named firm and also for Eva's Motor Coaches Ltd., a firm in close association with the firm of Albert Ewer.
During the whole of the period of Miss Daines' employment with these two businesses, she has been working in close touch with me and under my supervision, and I am very pleased to be able to state that she has carried out her various duties most satisfactorily.
She has been capable and efficient, accurate, punctual, loyal and honest and has proved herself to be willing and adaptable to the requirements of the business.
It is with regret that I learn of the possibility of Miss Daines being discharged from her present position owing to unavoidable changes in the business and for reasons of strict economy, and as I am also about to terminate my employment as Accountant and Secretary to the firms of Albert Ewer and Eva's Motor Coaches Ltd., respectively, I freely give this testimony as to MIss C. E. Daines' character and abilities.
It is my hope that she will soon find another situation and I am prepared to recommend her to any employer to whom her qualities and abilities might be useful.
She is worthy of a trail in any suitable situation for which she might make application and I wish her every success.
