Solidarity with the political prisoners on hunger strike in Eskişehir prison in Turkey. 280 political prisoners are on hunger strike in Eskişehir Prison since 20th June, in order to protest the inhuman conditions and oppression in the prison. These political prisoners who have started this hunger strike for democratic demands, despite of the danger of more repression and death, are not alone! Since the 1980 Military Coup, the political prisoners have exposed the repressive character of the regime by resisting against inhuman conditions, torture and maltreatment in the prisons of Turkey and Turkey Kurdistan. The political organisations from Turkey are staging a hunger strike in front of hackney Town Hall, in solidarity with the political prisoners. Our appeal is: Support our hunger striker; join the hunger strike; send urgent messages to the Turkish Embassy, Belgrave Square SW1, and to the Ministry of Justice, Ankara, Turkey. Oppose the oppression of Kurdish people. Today the Turkish army is carrying out a vicious war in Turkey Kurdistan. The transfer of new military units into the area, the formation of irregular forces made up of people from the region under the name of “village protector”, the implementation of the compulsory internal migration plan are a part of this project. The local Kurdish population of the Mountain Judi are forced to leave their villages and land. Today one third of the Turkish army is in Kurdistan. The aim of the Turkish fascist regime is to violently suppress the Kurdish people, to suppress their desire for freedom. They deny the existence of Kurds as a nation and do not recognise even their basic rights. We are calling upon all Turkish, Kurdish workers, organisations and democratic forces in Britain to raise their voices against Turkey’s terrorism in Kurdistan. The political organisations from Turkey are staging a hunger strike in front of Hackney Town Hall, sine the 26th July, in order to protest the terrorism of the Turkish regime in Kurdistan and in solidarity with the Kurds in the Mount Judi region in Turkey Kurdistan. Support our hunger strike. Join the hunger strike. Send urgent messages to the Turkish Embassy, Belgrave Square SW1 and the Turkish Government, Bakanhklar, Ankara, Turkey.
