Fragment of hippo tusk.

It is unclear whether this comes from a prehistoric hippo or more recent, modern hippo. The tusk has developed a chalky texture, suggesting it could be an older example.

Object history

Could potentially be from the same tusk as 1991. 1030, though the two pieces do not directly fit together.
