The labelling in roman numerals indicates that this tooth was part of the Soul Bequest, and would have likely been displayed in case 3. No descriptions of any teeth can be found in this case in the Soul Collection catalogue. Mr Soul had a substantial collection of natural history specimens. This may have been collected during his travels in the late 1800s in Africa.
