                            Physical Description
This is the seventh edition of The Hackney Scout Song Book belonging to E. Gautier. The book has a hymn supplement and is published by the Hackney Local Association (Boy Scouts). The foreword remarks that Hackney Scout troops had a reputation for singing "lustily and well", and hopes that the songs in the book would encourage singing throughout the district. Originally intended only for Hackney scouts, the book was well received and later distributed outside the borough to other troops.
