Experience was a young people's theatre group founded c.1980 that appears to have been active until around 1984.
In 1984, the newsheet EXPERIENCE was launched, written and edited by the young people of the theatre from Hackney, exploring community theatre arts in London from their own viewpoint.
On 21 May 1984 outside Hackney Town Hall, Rob West and members of Experience successfully broke the World Record for 'longest improvisation' as part of the Save Hackney campaign.
