A small bundle of artificial flower stamens. The flower parts and stalks are jet black. The stalks are made of string and have black plastic bulbous structures at both ends. These were made by women working from home making artificial flowers in the late 1800s. This specialist trade was mostly based in Hoxton. The flowers were used to decorate hats.
