Personal experiences

Personal experience shared by Gül:

We used to use gas lamps because there was no electricity in the village. It's from a bygone age and is now an antique. Electricity came to our village 16 years ago. Inside the lamp there is the wick, the gas and the glass bottle. The light was never enough but we had to use it. Also, when used in the house, these lamps were dangerous for children. They couldn't be used outside because whenever there was a breeze they'd go out, and we'd be left to walk in the dark or by the light of the moon.
