This chair was used in a barber shop in Shacklewell in the 1950s. It is made by Belmont, and has head and foot rests and an adjustable back to give a more pleasant experience for the customer. Unlike earlier models which may have had absorbant velvet or leather covers, the red plastic faux leather on this model could be wiped clean.
