Physical Description

The Red Cross cadets pictured here with their cadet leader have not yet completed their training. Although there was a uniform for cadets, they are shown here wearing their normal clothes with armbands and badges bearing the Red Cross symbol. A cadet unit was usually attached to an adult detachment, and this unit would have trained with the Hackney branch of the Red Cross.
