“Dalston was our territory. Ridley Road Market was a meeting place. On a Saturday afternoon the Trojan record shop was buzzing with activities. On occasions we would go as far as Mile End at Stratford to dances but only if there was a big crew of us. Occasionally we would go even further to the Kensington Birds Nest but this was dangerous, well out of our safety zone.” - Dennis Morris
