Object history
The history of the Grodzinsky dynasty in England dates back to 1888 when Harris and Judith arrived from Lithuania bringing with them the art of great bread making. They set up the business from a market barrow and established a baking tradition that is adhered to today, five generations later. Their son Abraham and their grandsons Harry and Reuben kept up the high quality of baking, whilst at the same time expanding the business. The range of bread, cakes and biscuits baked by the present family contains no animal fats, is of the highest quality and is both delicious and nutritious. New products are researched and developed constantly, employing the same exacting standards used to produce established favourites. The combination of tradition and innovation keeps Grodzinski at the forefront of modern bakery.
