This is to certify that Sergeant-Major L.F.Gardner
served in the 10th Battalion London Regiment Cadet Corps
for One year nine months and was discharged to join H.M.Forces
on the 14th day of February One Thousand Nine Hundred and seven-teen.
General Character:- L.F. Gardner joined "E" Company at its formation in May 1915, and has been one of the most regular, diligent, efficient, and useful members. he has attained the position of Company Sergeant-Major, and has the gift of handling men well. This, combined with a good word of command and complete knowledge of squad, company and rifle drill, should secure him rapid promotion in the Army.
