Comment from Nick Corker - Chair of Hackney's LGBT staff forum 'Out and About'
"I have chosen an old school bell because my first job in Hackney was as a Deputy Head Teacher. Each day I would stand in the playground and ring a bell the same as this to draw the children together in readiness for the school day.
For me, the bell signifies togetherness, a call for unity where everyone is equal. It doesn't discriminate between personalities, appearances or identities. It is these hopes that the network aspires to."
