Madam,
In connection with the competition recently held I am directed to inform you that, subject to a satisfactory report by the Medical Officer of the Council, and to the provisions of the scholarship regulations, and to any subsequent modification thereof, the Council has awarded you an industrial scholarship consisting of free tuition in Upholstery at the L.C.C.
Shoreditch Technical Institute for a period of two years from 1st April, 1907, together with a maintenance grant of £8 for the first year and £12 for the second year. You will, in due course, hear from the Principal of the L.C.C. Shoreditch Technical Institute as to the date upon which you should commence attendance thereat. All further communications on the subject of your scholarship should be addressed to the Executive Officer, Education Department, Victoria Embankment, W.C.
