LEGAL ADVICE
“NO COMMENT”
Say “No Comment” to all questions in a police interview. Being arrested can be a distressing experience. It is difficult to take in complex legal points: it is easy to say things that are unclear or you don’t mean, which might make it seem you’ve done something wrong.
In the police station
You have the right to free legal advice. You have the right to have someone informed of your arrest. You have the right to an interpreter if English is not your first language. You have the right to read the PACE codes of practice that lists all your rights.
If you don’t have a solicitor you trust we recommend:
Hodge Jones & Allen: 07659 111 192
Birnberg Pierce: 020 7911 0166
