Cow and Goat Horns
These cow and goat horns are from Pujehun, a rural area in the south of Sierra Leone in west Africa. In 1961, the year Sierra Leone regained its independence from the UK, they
were gifted to Mehrunissa Jumani and her husband by the chief of Pujehun. Her husband was the medical officer of the district. The couple later moved to Hackney and brought the
horns with them.
