SHIJI MEMORIAL CAMPAIGN
Beaten To Death By Police!
Olwashiji Lapite died in the custody of police officers from Stoke Newington Police Station on Friday 16 December. Shiji was stopped for ‘acting suspiciously’. Twenty minutes later he was dead. His face was covered in bruises, his mouth was split wide open and his skull was pulped. Everyday black people are abused and brutalised by the police. An attack on one black person is an attack on the whole of our community. We must not allow this to happen again. A two year old girl and a one month old baby will never know their father. They are also victims of police brutality. We have to defend our community. It could be you, your parents or your children next.
