Plaque in Memory of the Old Paradisians who fell in the Great War 1914-1918.
Assumed to relate to former students of Paradise House School. Paradise House School, also known as the Modern School, started life in 1876 in Redesdale House in Lordship Park. By 1879 it had moved to Paradise Row – the western end of today’s Stoke Newington Church Street – where it remained until it closed in 1929.
