Paintworks closed in July 2016 after 31 years of trading. The 'Same Place - Different Faces' exhibition held in 2011 showcased the work of 45 artists who had all, at one time or another, worked at the shop.

This exhibition will showcase the extraordinary talent of those who have passed through Paintworks - finding financial support during and after education and on their way to successful careers. Their work will be brought into dialogue at the heart of the East End to reveal an exciting legacy of one of the world's most vibrant art centres.

Inside the programme there are short biographies of all the featured artists alongside a photo of one of their works. The artists are:
