By virtue of the powers conferred on the Common Council of the City of London (hereinafter called “the Common Council”) under the Public Health (Interments) Act 1879 and section 44 of the London Government Act 1963 to grant exclusive right of burial and in pursuance of section 8 of the City of London (Various Powers) Act 1969 we, the Common Council in consideration of the sum of
ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY EIGHT POUNDS
Paid to us by KATHLEEN ROSINA STUNKINS
Of 51, Newbury Gardens,
Upminister,
Essex
(hereafter called “the GRANTEE”) Do hereby grant to the GRANTEE the exclusive right of burial for the period of seventy five years commencing on the 8th day of may 1985 in the City of London Cemetery and Crematorium at Manor Park, in the London Borough of Newham in the parcel of ground described in the Plan Book at the said Cemetery and Crematorium as Square 595 Number 136987 and of the dimensions of six feet six inches by two feet six inches including the right of placing a memorial thereon of the nature and in the position approved by the Common Council TO hold the same unto the said GRANTEE for the purpose of burial subject to the regulations of the Common Council and any regulations now in force or which may hereafter be issued with regard to interments in the said Cemetery and Crematorium by Her Majesty’s Secretary of State the appropriate Minister or by the Common Council or any other competent authority.
