Welcome to the Olympic and Paralympic Village!
I'd like to say a huge thank you for coming to the Village Commissioning Event.
As the very first people to stay in the Village, I'm delighted to offer you a taste of what the world's finest athletes will experience when they stay here in just a couple of weeks' time. For athletes, the Village is the area away from all the hustle and bustle - their private space. It is here where they prepare for the Games; some say this is where the gold medals are won.
We want this Village to be the best it can be, and we're still making final tweaks to ensure that the athletes have a world-class stay here this summer. To this end we would really appreciate your feedback - positive or negative (but hopefully always constructive). You'll receive a short feedback form to complete before you check out in the morning, so please do leave us your comments.
In addition, I'd like to remind you that the Village isn't yet fully operational and you won't be able to access all the areas that athletes will be able to take advantage of when they're here.
Finally, I would like to thank you for all your support - your input will ensure the Village provides a truly 'athlete-centred' service during the Games. Please enjoy this unique opportunity!

7pm - Welcome reception in the Main Dining Hall
7.30pm-9pm - Dinner in the Main Dining Hall
9pm-11pm - An exciting evening of entertainment in The Globe
Saturday
8.30am-10am - Breakfast in the Main Dining Hall
9am-10.30am - Check-out: please hand back your keys and completed feedback form and receive your ID in return

Please use common sense when exploring the Village and don't enter any areas that are still under construction.
In case of emergency, please contact 020 8519 3070. Do not call 999.
All apartments are internet accessible - there are instruction in your room on how to connect.
