58 Gin is proud to be the first UK distillery to switch our production to Hand Sanitiser in response to the Covid-19 crisis. Our sanitiser is an 80% alcohol-based solution recommended by the World Health Organisation and we are official suppliers to the Met Police, NHS trust hospitals and Marie Curie Hospices.
Scented with Juniper and Citrus oils, our Hand ‘Gin’itizer liquid is suitable for a variety of dispensers and can be used to disinfect hands, mobile phones, keyboards and various other home or office equipment.

Our philosophy is ‘Gin from the Heart’ and this translates into everything we do, from our commitment to reducing carbon footprint to producing sanitiser for front line services. During lockdown, we made nothing but hand sanitiser for the NHS, key workers, care homes and hospices.

At the beginning of the pandemic the sudden increase in public demand for hand sanitiser, coupled with panic buying, led to severe shortages.
In response, other businesses started to manufacture hand sanitiser to meet this sudden rise in demand and help protect people.
In March 2020 the 58 Gin Distillery in Haggerston became the first UK distillery to switch production to hand sanitiser in response to the Covid-19 crisis.
Manufactured to World Health Organisation standards, the sanitiser is an 80% alcohol-based solution.

HAND 'GIN'ITIZER
Alcohol-based solution recommended by the World Health Organization for hand disinfection. Antibacterial according to EN 1276. No rinse.
Do not use if hands are visibly dirty. Wash your hands with soap and water instead. Spray the Hand 'Gin'Itizer solution into the palm of one hand. Rub hands together to cover all surfaces until the skin is dry (30 seconds). Do not rinse.
