Object history
This Soviet badge represents the town of Anapa. The word сокоп (sokol) means falcon which could be a reference to a the area's biodiversity or a regional symbol. Anapa is a coastal town on in the west of Russia in the Krasnodar Krai region of the country. It lies on the Black Sea.
