Broken two piece metal pin badge - these pieces would have been connected with the larger piece hanging from the smaller piece. The badge is in red, blue and gold. The badge features cyrillic text, a star in a red border, and a trident above white waves.
Object history
This Soviet badge represents the town of Anapa and the sea - the word приморский (primorskiy) means seaside - this may be reference to the fact that Anapa is a coastal town. The town is located in the west of Russia in the Krasnodar Krai region of the country. It lies on the Black Sea.
