Silver, oval tray engraved with information on the celebration of the career of A.H Hards. The tray has decorative cut out edges and decorative engraving around the text.

Object history

This tray was given as a gift to Albert Hards (A.H. Hards) for his 20 year role as General Secretary of the Hackney Teachers' Association, part of the National Union of Teachers. The tray also recognises the work of his wife, Laura Hards, within the organisation.
