'Tebbit's Law' refers to the Employment Act 1982 introduced by Norman Tebbit, which targeted trade unions, restricted rights relating to industrial action, and made unions liable to pay for damages from unlawful industrial action. In response, the Trades Union Congress (TUC) launched a campaign against the bill.
